General Information

The Wheels Up North Weekender is a 2 day show with camping and entertainment the night before the main show day. Please read all of the information below to understand the weekend. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to get in touch via events@wheelsupnorthweekender.co.uk

 

  • Limited tickets will be available on the gate but this is subject to availability. We highly recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment. (Camping tickets are NOT available on the gate)

  • The entry fee is per person.

  • Names and tickets will be checked by marshals on entry against your pre-booking. Please print your ticket or have it ready when checking in. We will then give you a wristband.

  • Vehicles will be directed to their parking spaces by marshals.

  • Please keep the noise of vehicles to a minimum. Once you enter, turn the vehicle off, no revving, not drifting etc. Any damages to the field will come back on us and mean we can not return next time.

  • Drive in and out sensibly, we can only continue if people aren’t driving dangerously in and around the event.

  • Photographers: Please keep off the roads, we will have police close by and will be stopping anyone from leaving quickly, the show takes place inside the venue so get your photos/videos in there!

  • Police will likely be in the area monitoring people leaving and entering the event.

  • Please clear all litter using the bins provided.

  • Car/bike clubs must get in touch via the 'Get Involved' page on our website.

  • Dogs are permitted but MUST be on leads, please clear up any mess!

  • There will be toilets on site.

  • Should the event be canceled for any reason, tickets will be carried forward to the next event and we will let you know via email.

 

Opening/Closing Times

  • Saturday entry (Camping/entertainment): Gates open from 10am.

  • Gates will be shut at around 9:30pm.

  • Sunday entry: 10:30am entry for general entrance.

  • The event will end at 6pm on Sunday, please leave site as soon as possible after this time.

  • Show vehicle entry and leaving times are different, please check the information once accepted.

 

Entrance/Exits

  • Please check your tickets for the entrance you need to find. These gates will be signposted around the venue. What 3 Words locations are also below.

  • All guests will enter via the Main Entrance is (Gate A).

Food & Drink

  • Food and drink options will be available throughout the event.

  • Saturday evening: We will make sure there are options available for food and drink.

  • Sunday, there will be plenty of options available within our refuel zone for you to pick from.

  • Picnics are allowed on site but please do not bring glass onto the showground.

  • Campers:  We will have food and drink throughout the evening entertainment however, these will then close, so please consider this when packing for your weekend.

  • Veggie/vegan options will be available.

  • Please let vendors know if you have any allergies.

  • If you want to know if we can cater for you due to an allergy then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

  • A sheltered area will be available to all guests in our refuel zone with picnic tables. This is to ensure all guests can get out of the sun or rain if needs be to enjoy their lunch.

Camping

  • Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance.

  • A bin bag will be provided for you and your party on arrival, please make sure to use it, tie it up and put it in a bin before you leave.

  • Camping entry is via Gate A and exit is Gate D..

  • Arrival of campers from 10am on Saturday, gates close at 9:30pm, please arrive by then, if you can’t make this for any reason then please get in touch.

  • Campers must all be off-site as soon as possible after the event closes.

  • No firepits/fires.

  • No BBQs.

  • Gas stoves are permitted as long as they are raised off the ground and do not leave any damage the the ground.

  • Quiet times: 10pm - 7am.

  • Litter in bins provided around the site.

  • Food and drink will be on site within the times listed above.

  • Vehicles must not move around the site after dark for safety reasons.

Evening Entertainment

  • Live music will be on from 5-9pm Saturday evening

  • Food will be available from a vendor on the evening between 3pm-9pm

  • Music will be live bands - check our social media for updates on who will be joining us.

Disabled Facilities

  • We will have disabled toilets available on the site throughout the event.

  • The venue is very well maintained and very flat, with hardstanding pathways throughout.

  • We also have disabled parking facilities for blue badge holders, enter via the Main Entrance (Gate A) and we will guide you in. Please get in touch to find out more information.

 

Toilets & Facilities

  • There will be plenty of toilets available throughout the show. These will be serviced to make sure they are kept as well as possible.

  • Sinks will be provided within the camping area next to the main toilets.

 

Alcohol

  • Drinking is permitted on-site throughout the event however, rules do apply.

  • No alcohol is allowed to be brought in from the campsite or vehicles.

  • Alcohol in the camping areas is allowed, but please be respectful of the camping rules and do not leave any glass, these are showfields and working fields where animals are to be roaming.

  • Bar staff may ask for your ID, if you are denied, then that decision is final. Any nuisance caused by this and you may be asked to leave by security on site.

  • Bars will be available within the showground/refuel zone.

 

Forbidden Items

  • Any type of drugs are NOT permitted on-site at any point. If you are found with them, you will be asked to leave by security on site and reported to the local constabulary.

  • Glass bottles in the show area or left in the camping field. As mentioned above, these are working fields and show fields.

  • Open fires/firepits are not permitted, again for the reasons above, we cannot leave scorch marks on the site.

  • Shops

    • SPAR Milnthorpe, 13-17 Beetham Rd, Milnthorpe LA7 7QL (5-minute drive)

    • Booths, Lakeland, Parkhouse, Park Rd, Milnthorpe LA7 7AD (5-minute drive)

  • Hospital: Royal Lancaster Infirmary. Please get hold of the staff if you need help. We have a dedicated, private first aid team on site.

  • Hotel:

  • Campsite: 

    • Little Acre Holiday Park, Milton Ln, Crooklands, Milnthorpe LA7 7NN

  • Please bear in mind that these will get full very quickly. We have camping on-site, please book this via our website and make sure it is done in advance.

 

We hope that you can all have an enjoyable experience at our show, however, we do ask that you are respectful to our rules, the venue for letting us put on the show, and the neighbours that put up with any inconveniences caused by show days.

If everyone behaves in a sensible manner, we will be able to grow the show year after year for you all to enjoy!
